A 10Q is like a package insert for prescribed medication. It says the stuff could blind you, cripple you, kill you. Most people weigh the risks and benefits, take a chance, open wide and get on with life.

Good point, Bill.

You should see the warning labels they put on bottles of arsenic. Almost as boilerplate as AMZN's 10Q. :)

A chance is one thing. All stock buys are somewhat a chance except you are likely not to lose alll your investment in most stocks. AMZN is a gamble and a complete loss is at stake.
