Fluorescent tubing was dimmed in light trading. Knives were up sharply. Cows steered into a bull market. Pencils lost a few points. Hiking equipment was trailing. Elevators rose, while escalators continued their slow decline. Weights were up in heavy trading. Light switches were off. Mining equipment hit rock bottom. Diapers remain unchanged. Shipping lines stayed at an even keel. The market for raisins dried up. Coca Cola fizzled. Caterpillar stock inched up a bit. Sun peaked at midday. Balloon prices were inflated. And Scott Tissue touched a new bottom. And batteries exploded in an attempt to recharge the market... old joke? dan

Mark (from Bob), The reference you speak of is found in Psalm 82 and is directed at the judges of the land who exalted themselves. Interestingly enough Jesus references this topic in John 10. What a great segway. You said that Jesus is a great master and a fully rehabilitated soul. Well, here is a segment of John 10. Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God." John 10:31 - 33 Jesus often was threatened with death because of His claims of diety. If He claimed to be God and was not, then He was either a deceiver or a liar. A great master that's reached full potential wouldn't make false claims to coax people to follow Him. If you don't believe God punishes you when you err (not necessarily all the time), then why do you punish your children? (I'm asuming that you have at some point in time). Bob
