Chris, you make a very good point here.But perhaps this law should be modified just a tiny bit. After all it was designed to prevent a person in a position of power from putting undo pressure on a subordinate.This clearly was not the case here.It seems that if pressure is applied or rewards offered=bad [I don't think their is enough evidence to support the reward theory here, but I doubt if you all will buy that,reasonal people can disagree] other wise the relationship should be considered benign.
