David and thread:

Can anyone verify that this stock has been under distribution for several weeks? I don't have level II but a broker told me that there's some institutions (GSCO in particular) putting up blocks of 1,000-3,000 on the ask, all day long, with mostly smaller orders on the bid.

Could any of this be related to Meredith's comments about Q2 being difficult? Again, I don't have level II and i just want to confirm what I heard. I HAVE NO IDEA IF IT'S TRUE! Thanks.

Disclosure: I was happily long for over a year but sold off everything at 110 the morning after GTW disappointed.

Your logic speaks for itself...I give you information about industry-specific demand, you give me information about overall demand of an economy...I wonder which one is more relevant to the bottom line (of Dell)...Hm?

To mention Amazon and Yahoo in the same (investing) sentence as Dell shows that you are having trouble distinguishing between companies who makes tons of money with no end in sight (Dell), and companies who haven't yet proven they can make (a decent amount) of money in any calender years (the other two)....To compare a hardware manufacturer/distributor to an internet play is pretty irrelevant...Picking Coke or Gillette (as a comparison) would make a lot more sense...

I guess we shall see tomorrow afternoon where things currently stand...Good luck.
