Our Favorites
Here at AnchorDesk, we use:

HotBot. Managing editor Liz Enbysk likes it because it returns results that are thorough and deep. Slacker Nicci Noteboom prefers it because it is fast. I like the reverse search option, which lets me see who is linking to our pages.

Infoseek. Web expert Annette Hamilton likes the natural language features (she can type in a question and get results). However, she cites relevancy as a problem (it returns too many results) -- still, she says she can almost always find what she needs.

Northern Light. Annette likes this one too. Presumably because it returns even more stuff than Infoseek.

Metacrawler. Game Guy Bob Zormeir is a meta-feature fan.
