That was the argument of a long term shareholder named Wilson ( who lived in Germany too ) who use to post on this thread. Many long term shareholders of MO felt that way.

Rare: I agree withyou and the other posts...I am just concerned that the threat of a lawsuit of this magnitude would serve to put a several month damper on the stock, despite the lack of merits to the case..don't forget, with the suit comes a lot of press and very bad spin for the tob. industry, very similar to what happened with the McCain bill , even tho it ultimately fizzled out..this bad press really does seem to spook the street into selling. I would agree with you therefore that a tremendous snap back would occur when the suit is thrown out. Perhaps the covered call writers will therefore benefit the most, and believe me I'm not complaining about that!!
