Geoff & Valueman, thanks for your replies. I do agree that there are a lot of company specific factors that make it difficult to construct a true arbitrage trade on LOR. However, I do think this sum of the parts valuation exercise is helpful. Valueman, do you have any historical calculations of this measure? compared to the concurrent stock price? That would be helpful as it could provide a historical perspective of the market's valuation of the intangibles. Valueman, could you post the valuation formulas for the publicly traded stakes? Geoff, thanks for creating the FAQ, it is, among other things, a great file cabinet for us LOR enthusiasts to dip into from time to time. My sense is that Orion underperformed vs. expectations last Q, it is taking longer than expected to realize any benefits of the synergies (initially limited to implementation of superior internal systems that LOR brings to the party). Looks like we may get another big "buying opportunity" today. Cheers, Thomas
