ANOTHER news release announcing a major development for DGIV...

that would make it 2 in 2 weeks, after 2 months of silence...

sure looks like the "wall of silence" around DGIV is being lifted....

after 2 months of silence, I am sure there are plenty of new developments to be announced that we have not yet heard........

imagine what will happen as theses announcements start to be made, one by one, as the pace of news release picks up.........

anyone here remembered what happened in april, when we have the "avalanche" of news as the stock went from less than 1 to 8.....

looks like the second half of august is shaping up to be FUN (and it all started with last week announcement on 8/8/98 :).....

the starting price this time is 3, guess where we will end up once the "wall of silence" comes down completely!!!!!!!

JUST SOME OF MY THOUGHTS THIS MORNING ! LOL

R1, DGIV's growth is remarkable, but it is further proof that Jimmy wasn't just going over to Indonesia to play golf :-) That contract he signed with PT Primedia -- the last to be awarded in Indonesia -- has now been used to obtain the difficult licensing agreements needed to reach out to the prime regional centers on this diverse set of islands.

And it looks like the partnership with StarPager might be as a reseller, so they can market "DigitcomNet," VoIP and FoIP services throughout the islands. Nice strategy.

I think the Indonesian model is probably representative of his strategy in other regions as well. Indonesia is a microcosm of Asia, with thousands of islands with a mix of ethnicity and technological maturity. DigitcomNet will service the entire mix, from bustling Jakarta to the outer regions.

We will await to see if the same holds for Australia, Korea, Japan, Tawain, and any other Pacific Rim countries that Jimmy is penetrating.

Then we have Europe. He appears to be using Potsdam as the center from which to reach out to the eastern German regions. I wonder if he plans to continue extending that network into Eastern Europe? Or Western Europe for that mattter?

Well, this is just speculation on my part. Judging from the nature of his press releases, I doubt if we will know until these things are done deals.

Oh, I would have to be a shorter under these circumstances :-)
