How's this for the perfect scenario: House votes for impeachment. Goes to the Senate for trial. Senate votes 65 to 35 to convict (2/3 required to remove the accused from office). Clinton and the Wicked Witch of the East Wing finish out their term, disgraced and powerless. Algore has no coattails, and Gephart gets the Demo nod as candidate for Y2K election. Well, I can dream, can't I? jim

I'm already sickened over the "I did it to protect my family" defense, even though he hasn't offered it yet. It's such a convenient cover for him. Everyone knows Hillary didn't need to be informed that her business partner is a lying cheating worm. The only question is how much Chelsea really knows.

<Will you agree that perjury,obstruction, subornation and abuse of office are "relevant">Well lying about an affair under oath is perjury.But I think this is not relevant.I am not sure what"subornation" means so I'll have to beg out of this one for now[I am sure you will tell me.My guess is that it is not good]Obstruction,abuse of office,not good either.I have mixed feelings here. If it was about any thing else of course it would be relevant.But covering up what was essentially his own business[I don't concede that he did by the way]is another story.I dunno. pez
