Maxwell,

Thank you for being so patient.

I am sending this message via my new overclocked P-II from 450MHz to 500 running under the harshest environment of NT. Originally, I tried to set the multiplier from x4.5 to x5.0, but it did not work. The CPU speed stayed at 450. I had to overclock the bus from 100MHz to 112MHz to achieve this monumental event.

Any, just to let you know that the 450 chip appears to have a lot of margin designed around it. The case temperature still stays the same as 450. Everything appears to be noticeably faster.

It is too bad you don't have a 500MHz machine on your desk.
