Tippet; Their currency has been going down, letting it float just
lets the market set the price, devaluation is more an attempt
to fix it with a bandaid but generally done at the urging and
for the benefit of those already short the ruble.
There is a big difference, and devaluation IMO is to play ball
with the same crooks who undermined the economy to start with.
OK so I lend you money, then make it were you can't repay,
then I short the hell out of your money and tell you devaluate,
ha I make more off the short than I lose on the loans. You
lose either way, on top of that I now have a lean on your
major assets, and I want foreclose on them.
There is a lot of sick stuff in unmitigated capitalism,
and the backlash from it is always vilified and held up to be
the evil, while the Capitalist lives in denial that it had
anything to do with creating the backlash.
