Got a message today from someone who claims to be filing for an IPO for a company called CLONETECH. He writes: "It's going to be able to clone any new organ as your present ones wear out. Effective immortality. There are patents pending galore so, of course, I can't divulge any of the details. But just go read all the recent blockbuster stuff on cloning. DON'T LAUGH because it's serious and lots of us have friends and relatives who could benefit."

Perhaps he's serious... perhaps he's just playing a practical joke. But, if true, then it would be a far more desirable technology than what CYGS has. After all, new is better than repaired, especially if you can replicate the original exactly. I'll let people here know if I get more details and I'll monitor SI in case a CLONETECH thread appears.
