I agree - I am opposed to his removal. What is ironic is that extremism like Emile's accomplishes exactly the opposite of what it sets out to do - it makes the opposing arguments that much stronger. So in this sense he does serve a rather useful purpose. And for those who say he is repugnant and offensive, I say deal with it - you don't have to read or respond to his posts. I think SI does a good job of monitoring it's site without your help. When those of you in favor of his removal are finished with this thread, perhaps you can move on to bigger and better things like the public libraries. I am sure there are many books you consider offensive or irrelevant there that can be burned in the public's interest.
