You answered your own question. For the casino's to continue to grow their business they will have to look to new avenues - such as gaming over the www. I believe that when the CASINO's decide it's time for gaming online to begin in the USA - it will miraculously be legalized IMHO. But we don't need US gaming anyway. Gorcon

My interpretation of the article is that the reason for the modest
growth is directly related to a feature of land-based casinos.
People have to travel to gamble. Hence if people decide to travel
elsewhere, there goes a potential customer.

I submit that on the other hand illegal wagering has been increasing
in growth due to the wellness of the economy in the recent years and
because the illegal entities will deliver much like the pizza parlor.

Online gaming is the resolution to the problems with land-based
casinos.

Go
Winr.....

I will get even more shares if it continues to drop.....

Michael: It is evident that the gaming industry has experienced some slow down in growth of wagering the last few quarters, especially attributed to the decrease in "high rollers" coming from Asia, but the fact remains, it grows onward. Did you know that US citizens wager more money than they place into equity funds? This is true. And while we are on that topic, what is the difference between gambling in the strictest sense, and buying shares on wallstreet? I see no philosophical difference. In both cases, you place a bet in hope for a reward. However, the US government would never touch WallStreet even though more and more people are going into debt in order to speculate in its securities no matter how small or dangerous(this includes pennies). I also echo the sentiment: what is wrong with plopping down a $5 on the game. I have done that many, many times. Ever been in a pool? I think just about all of us have in one form or another.

13 million outstanding; 5.4 million in the float

The online gaming industry is just a piece of the gaming industry. I do not see it supplanting the experience of going to Vegas-hearing the ringing of the slots or seeing those dice turn up in your favor. However, there is a place for it. The sportbookies and national lotteries could benefit. It is a more convenient way for people to try their hand at lotto. As far as sportsbookies go, it certainly has the most benefit. Not only could the current sportsbookies reach more customers, they can now provide them with extra special tools-access to their cash immediately, solid accounting/banking, ability to place their bets online for just about any event anytime, anywhere. I think the sportbettors will explode in growth.

People will still go to Vegas, but internet gaming will have its place.

The beautiful thing about WINR is that they are not an internet casino. They are a software company who is establishing a solid financial online system for the secure transaction, in and out, of your wagers for gambling over the internet. Their software will be used for online transactions, with the major focus on internet gaming. They will be offering the software, which takes just about any currency, for online stock trading and online transactions. All markets in Europe should be licking their chops at this system for that purpose. How else are they going to offer online stock trading? This system makes it a whole lot easier to get the people's money into the stock market. A financial, internet, software, internet gaming-related company.

I love that we have bounced so high in the last week. I fully anticipated no movement until we announced that operations were underway(ie. taking wagers for TISS and Interbet). If we go to a $1 in the next 13 days or drop back to $0.40, I could care less because I will not be buying or selling anything. I am waiting most(90%) of my shares for the long term, but will be waiting to see if there is some kind of irrational spike, the day we announce, to take a little off the table to cover my initial investment. Those who try to time, I wish them well. I have never done well doing that, but some have the gift. If you can do it, you can make a ton of extra money.

Skinner says we are still on target for late August. The banks are still beta testing. Latter August is here.
