To All, Here is a message I sent to Island's e-mail address as well as to Gary and Allysa.... Subject: Programming errors Date: Mon, 17 Aug 1998 11:50:42 -0400 From: Rob Bowerman <cyberscapes@bigfoot.com> To: islandgaming@cwdom.dm, Gary Borglund <GBorglund@aol.com>, "allysaa@globalgames.com" <allysaa@globalgames.com> To whom it may concern, I just tried your new web site and came across the following programming errors: 1) Under the Sports Rules screen, the Baseball, Hockey, Boxing, Parlays, Football Teaser, and Basketball Teaser links do not send you to the correct position on the page. In fact, the position never changes from the top of the screen. The Bottom link and all of the Top links reposition correctly. 2) Under the Sports Book screen, there is a message "Or Call Toll Free 1-877-426-9100". This is an inaccurate statement unless you specify FROM which country this applies to, such as, the USA. There should be a different number for non-USA residents to call. 3) Under the Sports Book screen, the appearing/disappearing message has "Thanks for Visiting island sports book and Casino". I believe that "island", "sports" and "book" should be capitalized. 4) Under the Sports Book screen, I believe that the text "All Sports" is inaccurate, you do not allow betting on ALL sports. Many, yes, but not ALL sports. 5) Under the Sports Book screen, readability would be improved if you put a comma between the hundreds and thousands columns in the text "All Accounts Are insured up to 100000 US Dollars" (i.e., 100,000) and the words "insured", "up" and "to" in the same text should be capitalized for consistency. 6) Under the Home page screen, the text in the Island Sports Book button and the Island Casino button should be centered. 7) Under the Home page screen, the text "If you are over 21 years old, You may enter the sports book or the casino by clicking on the Image." should read "If you are 21 years old or older, you may enter the Sports Book site or the Casino site by clicking on the appropriate button above." Also, the fonts used for this line is way too small for this critical piece of information and the dark blue text color should not be used as it is far too dark. 8) Under the Bank screen, only a black screen appears. There should be a "This Page is Under Heavy Construction" message if this is truly the case. 9) Under the Member Sign Up screen, there are many errors: Members Registration (should read Member) FirstName (should have space between First and Name) Last Name Address City State/Pro. (Province should be spelled out) Zip/Post Country Name(Requied) (should be spelled Required, should have space between User and Name to be consistent with other screens, should have space after Name, should have minimum/maximum lengths specified below the field) Password(Requied) (should be spelled Required, should have space after Password, should have minimum/maximum lengths specified below the field) E-mail(Requied) (should be spelled Required, should have space after E-mail and should have the word "Address" added after E-mail) Amount you wish to Credit (US$): ("you", "wish" and "to" should be capitalized for consistency) (You may enter any amount as $100.00) (this text makes no sense, are you trying to say "You may enter any amount from $100.00 or up"?) Pleas Call Toll Free 1-877-426-9100 (should be spelled Please, should have the country listed that this number is appropriate for and an alternative number for all others to use) To Submit Credit Card Number (was the card number input field left off?)
