All hail iMac! I got a good laugh out of this quote:

"I think it's cute," said one customer. "I heard the plastic they make it from is bulletproof."

Maybe the US Post Office will buy a bunch!

Also, I played softball on Saturday with the higher ed. rep here at the U, and he gave me a SWEET iMac t-shirt, a beautiful iMac poster, and two great stickers with the "Sorry, no beige" line on them. I took the shirt home and washed it immediatley, then wore it the rest of the day on Saturday and all day Sunday. Where's the iMac clothing line!? iMac action figures?

Buy low, sell high.

Mark

To all,

Apple seems to be encountering some faily stiff resistance here around the 42 level. I exited my entire Aug 35 position at an average price of 6 7/8 and am extremely happy with my profits. I also sold the Aug 42 1/2 at 3/4 against the Oct 40 position I hold.

The stock may continue to go up some short term, hard to say. However, the good news is basically out unless buyers start fighting in the CompUSA aisles. I therefore expect some consolidation between now and Seybold and possibly up until earnings. We shall see.

Sam

Sam, I'd love to get an idea of what indicators you watch for TA and such, and where you watch them, so you can make your decision about when to exit. I'm going to bug you for tutorials!!

I sold my January calls yesterday, though I believe I sold TOO EARLY! I still have my leaps. I want to buy back shorter term calls on a dip but I'm not sure there is going to be a dip.
