Tero,

I lived with two Danish women for a few years. I found the language somewhat interesting, definitely a lot of throaty vowel sounds. I found a recording that was supposed to teach the language so I could surprise them. Tried to learn just one line, something like "I will take my breakfast in bed this morning". They thought I was having a stroke and was ready to call for emergency services.

Nokia is a great company, I have been extremely impressed by them. I agree that by learning CDMA early, they have positioned themselves to continue to blow past ericsson for years to come.

I think qualcomm will also explode in the next few years on the basis of overall sector growth, CDMA growth in particular, and their unique royalty advantage. I disagree with you that qualcomm will not be able to compete with nokia, motorola and ericsson due to relative size/volume issues. They are extremely ahead of the learning curve technologically re CDMA, CDMA will be the emerging standard in some form, they are extremely well positioned. One cannot underestimate the advantage of doing business when your competitors all have to toke you a few percentage points on their sales.
