Ratan: ROYAL FLUSH I admit it. I have been wrong about the Royal Family. I thought they were not worth the shit !!!!!!!!!!! The present vestigial Monarchy, is a benign institution and I am disposed to its continuation at least for the benefit of the American tourists. The pomp and fanfare associated with public Royal functions are in a way incongruous to the power vested in the Royal family; nevertheless it has its value in maintaining the tourist industry and keep the Royal family in accustomed comfort. Just look at the MiniRoyals in India, who had been deprived of their privileges, because of the drain on the treasury. India could not afford the purses that the Royalty were getting and therefore abolished the purses and titles. JPR

What comes to mind...'You want fries with that???' Ratan: When I hear the words royal family particularly British two things come to my mind and they are: 'White Trash' & 'Trailer Park Trash' [didn't mean to insult these folks,it just came to mind is all] who shamelessly live off of the working people of England, if I had anything to do with them I would have put them to work at McDonalds as they are not qualified (I don't think) to do much of anything else, besides I like to hear them say 'You want fries with that??" in that smug-accent of theirs.<VBG>
