Alex,

I confess, I started the yuppie thing by pretending to be offended at being mistaken for one. I do belong to that generation, but took a rather different path, which ended up depositing me pretty much right where all the ex-yuppies are. So now I guess I am one, or would be if I were younger. In any event, the slur was a relic of a somewhat prejudiced past, and inappropriate. Unless you're a market maker or a hedge-fund manager. In which case, die yuppie scum, and all that rot.

Steve

Alex, I think you have a couple of strikes against you. Not only is there the yuppie problem, but the the fact that you own a Beemer!!! It is sort of absolute proof that you have taken a certain path, yes?
