>>You must admit that it is for the American people to make this kind of call. So far they are in his corner on this one.<<

Not really, it is for the Congress of the United States to make the call. That will be determined when they have the opportunity to review the IC report. Hopefully, we will see that the elected officials who write our laws will see fit to hold those accountable who violate them. Irrespective of the polls, I might add.

<<But when it comes to sex all of us men become a little scatter brained.>>

I don't have sex with my underlings even though I may find some of them to be very attractive. My judgment tells me not to. Most men in management positions share this type of proper judgment.

<<Hind site makes the mistakes look bigger.>>

No. This was a big deal in fore site. He was already being sued by Jones, and there were numerous other allegations out there when this thing was initiated. Bad judgment.

<<I don't think mistakes of this nature mean to much about his ability to govern.>>

You are wrong. He lacks proper judgment.

<<He has done alright so far.>>

He has been a horrendous president. A Republican congress has saved him from Jimmy-Carter-dom.

<<You must admit that it is for the American people to make this kind of call.>>

Part of this is true. But we have laws that have been passed by the elected representatives of the American people. If those laws were broken, the courts and congress can and will overrule popular opinion.

<<Percieved lack of judgement is not grounds for impeachment.>>

I didn't say it was. I just wanted to know if you think his judgment is sound enough to serve as President. I got my answer.

What the American people think only matters when electing an individual to office, not whether he/she should be removed. The only poll that is relevent is the law. If Mr. William Jefferson Blythe Clinton broke the law by lying under oath (perjury), attempting to get others to lie, and by attempting to cover up these acts, then he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law regardless of what the American people think.

If you disagree because you are a Democrat and you want to support your man, then what Nixon did should not have been a big deal either. You can't have it both ways.

Whoa There!

But when it comes to sex all of us men
become a little scatter brained.

Nope. Some of us allow our brains to control our penises. Don't lump all men in with Clinton and his pathologies.
