MskiHntr, I know of only one case, where one could "weakly" point to "conspiracy" between the bandits and management, and it is not in HEC case, that other case was KAFE (then CAFE), where the President himself own a big chunk of the floorless. In all other cases, there are no conspiracies, none are needed, the structure of the floorless is what provide the bandits with their obscene profits. If you read my posts on the subject, look at the more than 10 companies I cited in which the stock was decimated after the floorless bandits finished their nefarious job.

Of course, HEC might be the one out of ten which will escape this fate, but I think it is quite an "outside" bet.
