Thanks for the info guys. You are right -- if companies with similar technology cannot compete with CYMI, then it will be a long time (if ever) before brand new 13nm point source technology becomes a real concern.

I would think it very difficult to get a lot of power, that is, photons/second, out of this "point source." An excimer laser is actually a pretty big beast, but the coherence of the light makes it quite sharply focussable. If the whole lamp is the size of a fist,
there's no way it will be pouring out tens of watts of EUV light, able to expose lots of wafers per hour, as an excimer laser does.

IMO.
