That just helps to keep a lid on costs so margins don't slip. The effect is only to provide some downside resistance. It takes revenues to get things cooking. Since the company is in a transition phase, there is no standout institutional interest now. Given the rising caution about stock prices, T should be a dull performer for some time. It is likely to drift as low as 50.

It's quiet everywhere. Investors are sure there's something wrong, but they can't figure out what. Many are burnt out on this stock market game and others are losing interest because few are making money. This state of affairs should persist.

I don't see that the announced $3 charge is going to have much impact on the bottom line. Seems to be more of a minor housekeeping item. OTOH, I am always uncomfortable with any action that loses customers regardless of their perceived worthiness.
Customers are too hard to get, just to throw them away.

When the TCI deal was prominent news I didn't see any mention of the creation of "tracking stocks" after the deal closes. The recent quarterly ATT report goes into great detail about the tracking stocks issuance. Does anyone have any experience with this concept, and what if any impact will this have on Tshares???
