DELL in August 110's tried to get on since 1:00 so many messages.. proxy server down, message 503.. and 'page not found' exasperating. anyhow DELL performed perfectly today as an 'ancipatory upswing' earnings play. I expect many stocks on our earnings plays watch list to perform in the same way. Whether you decide to hold through earnings depends on your risk tolerance.. August options are up 1 3/4 points since upswing began. Wait until day's end before deciding to get out. others like LOW, HD.. looking good TIP: The more volume and the larger capitilization stocks like HWP, DELL, MSFT, AOL.. are great for intraday trading on DAY that earnings come out. DELL was NOT in buy territory for me last Friday and only today showed proper signs of intraday breakout. They trade in very fast markets even for options. In the 'bear/bull' tug-of-war day of earnings, you can easily discern the 'winner'...
