John: OT --- ---->where do you like to fish? There are so many good places within a couple of hours from Paris, Tx that is easy to answer...... anywhere I think I can catch a mess. I guess my favorite lake is Caddo --- over on the La. border. As I love the horse races and fishing, I can combine both at Caddo cause Shreveport and La Downs is only 20 miles from the lake. For nearly 20 years I had either a cabin, a motor home, or a trailer parked year round on the lake outside of Oil City La. Now that Dallas has Lone Star Park and simulcasting I go there for the races more and fish either the local lake or Lake Fork. Up until last year had a trailer on Fork for 6 years. But before I hurt any feelings about a favorite lake, I haven't found one yet that I disliked ....... and I suspect that I've fished every lake in a 150 -200 mile radius from my home........ I would never guess that you like fishing from looking at your profile .... bass man, huh ? Where do you normally go ? I was a charter member of the local Bass Club many years ago but I gave up tournament fishing when my kids all grew up and left home and the headofthehousehold got tired of going to lakes where there weren't too many shopping places ....... ggg To John C ----- the 503 wasn't where I lost the message even tho I had about 10 of them in a row ...... it got lost on a "page not found" and came back blank .......
