Maybe I missed something, but when did Brinker move from the S & P 500 to the Wilshire 5000? The Total Market fund has been his only passive fund of choice of in the newsletter although he has discussed the S & P 500 index fund on the radio for as long as I can remember. I really think diversification is his only thought here although I think there is certainly a good chance for small cap outperformance in the immediate future. But, geez, if you asked me the same question 4 months ago when the small caps were much higher, I would have said the exact same thing <G>. But the large caps will have to lead at least initially out of the correction IMO.
