Yes, I have posted on this. The senior author has told me that he is a Vivus consultant and that he is playing a major role in Vivus' gene therapy prgram.

PS No one responded when I posted about Nirec Inc. which is supporting the nitric oxide synthase gene therapy approach. Anyone heard of Nirec Inc. ??

Rigts to the product I don't know, but presumably if Vivus have him as consultant there muse be something? But I did not pursue this with him. He said that they were now considering the results of the preclinical trials with a view to the future.
