Urlman, to target printer market,

It would be nice to port Adobe PostScript to the chip. Targetting other proprietary printers such as HP and Epson Stylus may be helpful as well. Most of these devices need a better low-cost processing engine.

As they seem to now have an RTOS which will hopefully lead to the chip running Personal Java, I guess other companies will be providing the software suites (web browser, address book, spreadsheet) themselves on the Java platform. So once the port occurs I'll be pretty happy with the Java end of things.

But being in the embedded market, they should be aware of the Jini technology emerging from Sun and partner themselves with the right people for that market.
