Moons,

Palm Pilot is really getting bigger and bigger!!

1) A few days ago, I read the Business Week issue with
Nokia as the cover story. Nokia is kicking butt big time
with their mobile phones. They look at the Palm Pilot
as one of their biggest challengers.

Ultimately, Nokia wants mobile phones to converge to voice
and data. Well Palm Pilot soon will have the wireless voice
function and already has the data functions.

Nokia, is still working on putting in the data side to
it's wireless side. They were thinking of using the
Windows CE, I think, but gave up on them...rejected Bill
Gates flat out.

2) Windows CE is not doing as well as it's suppose to.
Palm Pilot OS is a major thorn on its side. MSFT has
big expectations on Windows CE.

I just hope Eric B. knows what kind of gold mine the Palm
Pilot is, and is able to manage it very carefully.
I hope he's getting good advice on how to build it so
it will be a cash bull for the long haul.

joe
