Richard, in my option optimism and pessimism don't play a factor in
determining the success of Maxam or the desert dirt story. But if
Maxam wants to obtain other peoples money to play out the story in
real time, then Maxam has to be more forthcoming with whats happening
on a week by week time frame on their web site. Its almost seems that
Maxam used the money from us shareholders for the purpose to get the
company going on a trial and error basis, and now Maxam is looking at
a new independent source of money to continue the company. If true,
nothing wrong with this, just so eventually share price goes up thru
a successful extraction of the dirt for precious metals. The only
problem I see, and this has nothing to do with the company being
sucessful, is that the curent shareholders who put up the "seed"
money are ignored. You do give us info from the Man, but what if you
left this thread, does this thread have to identify another threader
to telephone the Man for update and status. What about those shareholders
that don't know about SI and only look at the official web page, and
don't say that thats their problem not to do research because the
latest and greatest and most up to date and accurate info should be
on the web page. Now you said you got word of a possible new source
of money for Maxam. OK, that good and important info for the shareholders,
but if its official why not put it on the web site as a news release
that "possible new money has been identified". Or is this hype that
an official web page shouldn't print ? If so, then I don't see the
difference in you obtaining it and posting it. I would only post
stuff that can be verified. Ok, this is a chat place and reader beware.
Ofcourse we is both right at the same time, which means that two
different things can be the same at the same time. I think it was
someone like Aristole that said this logic is a no no.
>>I bought for a particular "story" and that story is still intact<<
To me, we all on this thread who are shareholders still believe in
this story. The path to get to a nice ending of this story is being
written real time and we on this thread would like to read the story
real time, not months after events happen.

Richard,

I am working R&D right now and I admit to having a shared love of technology and advancements and the good(s) they will bring. Maxam is part of this story and I want to see their success. I can't tell you how badly I want to see it. It is my opinion that the deficiencies in all of the companies that have become known as the desert dirts have accumulated. Not only in the companies that have been responsible for these deficiencies but with all of them now known for themselves within this group. It has become a domino effect and one must rise as the a stand alone entity and rise above this grouping in order for success to be had. I have only ever owned two of these companies. They have been obviously IPM and Maxam. IPM because that is what brought me here and Maxam because I believed in them after meeting Mr. Runyon at IPM's AGM on the Maxam Peoria tour.

I will call Mr. Runyon tomorrow and offer to him the situation as I see it with nothing more than the hopes that something in my words can help. I am not close to the situation so I am sure that there are many details that I am not aware of but hopefully I can do some good.

Richard you are not the only one who thinks highly of Maxam's possibilities. I do as well. I merely want to see these possibilities turn to realities.

OK... In January, I decided to give the company until October to deliver SOMETHING!!!!!

So far they have not done one thing they said they were going to.
I dont feel like they are lying.. but those are the facts. The cold, hard facts.

What is your current time frame?
