Nitpicking is what i am going to do and i have the least position of all of this since i did not and will not vote, that is trully the big lie..imho...

you wrote:"If someone lies to me, I never trust them in the future."

Does that include your parents, significant other, employer, sibs? Surely, they told you a fib or two?

just pointing out an inherent flaw in your statement, not in being betrayed which, you felt after the nixon ordeal.. it's all a lie imho but, i dont vote so why should i care? ...i dont really.

*****Years ago,I voted for Nixon, and I can remember the
clear sense of betrayal I felt when it became clear that he was lying.*****

The same thing happened to me and I am sure that there are a lot of Dems out there who are having those feelings now about Clinton. But doen't expect that reaction from the die hard liberals, Clinton has been their key to power and they don't want to give it all up.
