i wonder if they have looked at the advances verse decliners trend. or the new highs compared to new lows? my guess is that the smart money is being taken off the table and they expect the individual investors to stay and hold the ball........that is until it drops to the ground and they can start the process all over again. that is why i don't listen to brokers. and i can give you plenty of examples of stocks they "pushed" which were later worth pennies to the dollar. just look at creaf, beam, hdco, mltnq, and many others.

unless the general market starts to show improvement, i will have to stay on the short side as it is safer. it also gives profits more quickly. and to say that asia doesn't affect us is just asking for trouble. that's like saying germany didn't affect us in the world wars.

it is my opinion that we are at the start of at least an intermediate downtrend/ bear market if not one of much larger proportion. even in a bear market, there are areas of strength and up days.
