bw, the drillers again got a good toast on their butts today. The only worry I have for shorting them is the acquisition issue which I suspect will be hot and heavy at their current prices. MRL has been holding up very well compared to others as of late because it is on top of the next CDG list for a takeover. I decided to bail MRL and just stay clear of them for now. I do expect some technical rebound to come their way soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow. Now to the BC's show at 10pm tonight (7pm your time). I think the market will reward him nicely if he appears really sincere by giving a big relief rally tomorrow morning. But if he puts on his lawyer/politician face the market will not like it a bit. bw - you aren't into option are you? If you are, do take a look at KMB's Sept 45 put where it sells at 1/2 pt premium which is cheap, cheap, cheap. I am waiting to unleash into this rally by putting a list of my favorite consumer multinationals (but no more drug companies) which have very low price premium. KMB, CL, UN and PPG are a few I have followed closely. KRB and AFS - I will probably put AFS since 70 is a resistence while 30 is the support for KRB. Will likely short MAN stocks. vigil - would you please use Capital letters when they are needed. It's kind of difficult to read all the monotonous letters. What do you do with the evil tower? I have no plan to cover yet.
