You should not believe these from your background.

As I've explained many times on SI, I do think TA is useful. It certainly makes me money. In the absence of good econometric models of stocks it is useful for plotting dynamic adjustment paths between longer run equilibria based on fundamentals. I don't believe in the efficient markets hypothesis. But I'm not a hardline theoretical conservative economist - I'm more of an eclectic, empirical, liberal one.

Some TA doesn't make much sense to me. Other (including my own ideas of course) makes much more sense from an econometric viewpoint.
