Richard,
I have come around to your way of thinking on this. At first I thought I had to have every symbol ready in a MS directory so I could pull up anything that came to mind. After only a few weeks, I have found that I don't need that at all.

I've settled on a few scans that I currently like (always on the alert for something new) and they populate "temporary" directories, which I can peruse until I tire of them. Sometimes, I come up with a stock I want to continue to follow and I just place it in a more permanent directory.

So far, this is simplicity itself... and fast!

Ken

Ken,

Glad to hear it. I know its not right to have to do this and be limited by old technology but given the limits imposed on us this methodology works out well for many. If you want to scan charts, use QP2 charting. This should be improving real soon... :)

Good Luck,
Sean

All...

I have a few scans that were not exported from QP as .exp files. How to I import them into the QP scanner? Yes, they are QP scans.
