What good has this investigation brought the country? a)$40 Million down the drain. b)Made our country the laughing stock of the world. c)Diminished the relationship between the secret service and future Presidents. d)Frozen country progress for over the past six months. e)Will eventually ruin the life of Ken Starr as he will receive a severe backlash when he is investigated. f)etc. etc. etc. Clinton should not have had an improper relationship, yeah I know, but so have others in the same office and it is really none of our business. You could blame all this on Clinton but a sophisticated knowledge of the innerworkings of our legal system would demonstrate this could happen to most anyone. Clinton was set up in a trap plotted by Ken Star and Paula Jones attorney, even before he had official permission to pursue this matter from Janet Reno. Not to mention the misleading leaks. If that is an independent counsel, I'd hate to see one with a chip on his shoulder. I was not even around when McCarthy ruined countless lives to no avail. It my estimation based upon the under-handed and biased approach Ken Starr has demonstrated, that Ken Starr is the McCarthy of our era. If you don't think so I would ask you if you like Ken Starr to come after you and use all the low life tactics he has demonstrated. Believe me he would pull up, make up, contrive so much shit you would want to kill yourself. I think every member of congress who is looking down on Clinton now should get one year of Ken Starr on their ass. I bet you more than half wouldn't make it. That's what happens when you give an attorney a blank check, the FBI and a Grand Jury.
