I didn't hear about the Asia problem being mentioned in HP's earnings announcement. Paul did say that HP was up in after hours trading. However, Paul has been wrong in some details before so this doesn't surprise me.

Yes, I think Clinton may effect the market. From what I'm hearing, it may be positive because the mess may be over. Of course, the talking heads may be wrong.

Don't forget the Russian devaluation. We may see some more adjustments for that. I heard they are delaying some payments for ninety days for goods received. Some companies may not be paid after ninety days is the worry point. I don't know about other businesses but I have to mark receivables off as bad debt after ninety days. Don't think Compaq is big in Russia yet.

We do a some business there, but not enough to impact the bottom line. China has become a good size client also. Business in Japan is almost nothing now. Those are growth areas for us.
