Serena,
I didn't realize I was trying to kid anybody. You can call it "transparent" if you want, but I have never denied that Gary is my friend.

I have a true belief that neither he, nor anyone else here, has any obligation to make his personal trading habits known to anyone here. I will agree that if a person is paid to promote a company, they have an obligation to disclose that fact. However, whether that person is paid in stock or cash, they are under no obligation to disclose the terms of their agreement with the company, rather, simply that they are being paid or compensated to promote the stock.

You may think it is your right to look at my bankbook because I am in the business of promotion, however, I regret to inform you that it is not. It is called privacy, and unless a judge says so, you have no right, as long as I do not hide the fact that I am paid. You don't need to know how much or how, only that I am. And, for the record, Midland, Inc. is not presently, and has never been a client of Quality Promotions, Inc.

For two months now, there has been innuendo made and it is finally getting more specific. There is a belief, by some on this thread, that Gary was either paid money or stock, or was given preferential private placements, in exchange for his 'touting' of the stock. What it comes down to is that people can either believe him or not. I asked him weeks ago if he did it, and he told me he did not. Because he is my friend, I believe him. You can choose to believe him or not, that is certainly your choice, and I don't think it matters to him one way or the other, but of course, you'd have to ask him.

If my defense of him seems transparent to you, then Im sorry, but I can promise you I would defend your right to personal privacy just as passionately. It is, in my opinion, just not right, and while I know it sounds cheezy,un-American, to invade people's personal lives like that, when they 1) offer NO investment advice, 2) tell you REPEATEDLY, to the point of ad nauseum, to do your own DD, and 3) TELL you that they are being paid to promote, if that is the case.

I am not trying to flame anyone. This is truly how I feel, and I feel very strongly about it. It is not because I have something to hide, but rather because you have no right to look.

Just My Opinion, and if you don't agree, Im not flaming back.

Peace for a week,
:-)
