Kahuna,

Just a few thoughts:

The income realized by Pfizer last quarter of over $400 million in the US was based on sales to the wholesalers. Many unethical pharmacists ordered millions of dollars of product to be sold for great profits overseas on the black market. These orders will not be repeated at the prior levels as Viagra becomes available in other countries (unethical pharmacists in foreign countries will no doubt do the same thing until the black market saturates with both the real McKoy, Indian generics and outright fakes).

I still have serious doubts regarding Pfizer's ability to deal with the liability issues surrounding Viagra.

I do think that Pfizer has a good pipeline but I can not justify present valuations in relation to other large pharmas such as Merck.

But then I could not justify the valuations of the likes of AMZN, YHOO, AOL etc etc 9 months ago.

Good thing I didn't short all of them.
