Gersh; Monty and I are looking at internals, not the index price
it's actually a count of the "number" of stocks advancing or
falling below a certain DMA this is more like an A/D line,
but it's more detailed. He runs a special scan to get these
numbers.
Any of the trend lines on based on index price can be influenced
by a few stocks if the move in them is big enough, this is looking
at the "amount of stocks" moving up or down, inside the index
it gives a broad internal picture, and can differ a lot from an
MA on index price.
