To: +lisa (5989 ) From: +P&F-Madness Monday, Aug 17 1998 11:33PM ET Reply # of 5993 STATEMENT VICE PRESIDENT AL GORE A short time ago, I spoke to the President (Slick Willy) and told him that Tipper and I (after laughing our asses off) have him and his family in our hearts and in our prayers (because, you need it pal). Along with the rest of the country, I watched the President's televised address in which he took full responsibility (Hope no body noticed the gun pointing at his head) for his actions (sex actions that is) and apologized (ever so sincerely) to the nation. I am proud (snicker giggle drool) of him -- not only because he is a friend (but because if this backfires, I get to be President)-- but because he is a person who has had the courage to acknowledge mistakes (not this time but I remember when we were kids he said he was trying to miss the window at Mrs Jones house but the big bully on the block made him do it..). I am honored to work with this great President on his agenda for the nation,and I believe it is time to put this matter behind (uh huhhuh - he said behind) us -- once and for all -- and move forward with the business of the United States of America.
