George, while your continuing belief in Clinton until last week seems naive, it is at the same time sweet and idealistic. I have heard on the news that White House staffers are going through the same emotions that you are. None of them could believe he would be stupid enough to leave messages on Monica's answering machine tape, for example, and, um, having sex with her blue cocktail dress is just totally over the top!! His recklessness IS pathological!! And now we have the additional problem that he is in charge of our missiles and stuff. I think it is particularly of concern that this latest military operation was pulled off in a deliberately misstated way (not retaliatory, ha ha) because only in that way could he fire them off without Congressional acquiescence.
