Yes, there would be lots of good reasons. NEM is the premier North American gold company. If Earlie's rumors of treasury selling by Japan are true, the writing may be on the wall for a falling US$ = higher gold price.NEM is at a 10 year low. It made 16 cents last qtr. with gold at sub 300. How much will it make if dollar falls and gold hits 350? 400?

Excellent article in James Grant's recent issue. Title is "Buffet Sells without Selling". Well worth the read as it examines how The Great One may be moving his portfolio from stocks to bonds. I won't spoil a good read. There's probably a URL out there somewhere, but I'm no help.
