Popped in a mobile phone shop and held the 8810 in my trembling hands for the first time. I couldn't stop fondling it... even though the salespeople were giving me suspicious stares. Apparently all the units were already sold to the people reserving them in advance. Nokia is playing some sort of exclusivity game here; these phones are hard to get and there's panic among tech geeks trying to get their paws on them first. No matter how much people are grumbling about the price it doesn't seem to stop the waiting lists from forming.

It's easy to focus on all kinds of secondary issues when you're evaluating a stock. Sometimes it pays to just visit some shop and find out whether the company you own is making something that will haunt your dreams. The rest is just noise.
