My broker just told me that it's true. The SEC has halted MIDL.

Ouch

I got word from Dave Taylor of Quick Tent (QTNT):

Basically, last Thursday I called Dave Taylor to ask the following:

Number of Outstanding Shares:

Number in the Float:

Why their transfer agent wasn't OTC STOCK TRANSFER INC. any more

He called yesterday and left a message on my voice mail... I will now share his answers and answer why he hasn't answered the phone in the past two business days.

He says he was at "Outdoor Retailer" a National show/convention based in Salt Lake City where he was promoting Quicktents.

He said he'll be in and out for the next couple of days following up on contacts made at the show/phone calls/etc...

So MY worst fear (him leaving the country to live it up in Rio de Janerio, Brazil) hasn't happened yet.

He stated the Outstanding Shares are roughly 8 million.

He stated the float is roughly 2 million... he said probably less, but he wanted to make sure he overstated it.

And the reason OTC Stock Transfer is no longer their transfer agent is because they were involved in a lawsuit and he said in a few weeks they will go back to being QTNT's transfer agent again.

Now, remember, because this was my voice mail I couldn't ask him what this lawsuit was, if it pertained to QTNT's shares or just OTC Stock Transfer, etc....

I also couldn't ask him why he would just have "rough" figures for OS/Float off hand.

However, I will try to call him later on today.

But, to reaffirm, the man does exist.. and so does the company.

And he IS returning phone calls which is a great sign.

I will buy more once I hear the details of this lawsuit if it doesn't affect QTNT adversely, and I plan asking him where are the details of the financing he spoke about in the last news release and I will ask his take on all this buying and no upward movement in price.

I wouldn't sell yet until we hear the whole story.

By the way, I'm not going to constantly call him all day, maybe every few hours to see if he is in... so if someone else gets hold of him first, I would appreciate seeing Dave's reply here.
