I was unaware that there was some debate raging about the search engine product line. I thought that the search engine was the engine for Livelink, period.

My take is that the Knowledge base side would rather license a third party search engine.

Correct, and in retrospect seems like a dumb idea. Hindsight is 20/20...

"Inktomi valuations"...hmm...intriguing concept, thinking about it probably teaches us something about Inktomi we should have known...it's way overvalued!

Either way, Open Text has not really benefited from the hype that accompanied most internet stock.

We can certainly could use this new customer announcement since it's been quite a while since the last one, and with the reasonably big jump yesterday, this is good timing to keep the focus on success.
