For Intel to buy back $155B of Intel stocks. Intel would have to use up all of their cash, sell all their plants, sell all their intellectual properties, and etc. By the time they finish (assuming they generate enough cash) there wouldn't be anything left to Intel.
Intel could SELL their trademark Intel. That would worth a lot of money. Do you know that the most EXPENSIVE trademark is Marlboro?
That trademark worth over $20B. Do you know what is the SECOND most expensive trademark?
