Don't you mean an attempt at big time covering? There have only been 24000 or so shares traded, and probably not many sells over buys, if any. Let's say they are able to get a net of 10,000 sales a day, which is saying a lot since there have been many more buys than sales lately. But even at that rate, they would need 80 trading sessions (4 months!) to cover 800,000 short positions. Ouch! And we might even get some good news over the next 4 months "-)
