People were using float figures of half a million to a million shares...these figures were from 1997.

I never saw any post that estimated that high of a float for this year let alone last year. But even if someone knew it and posted it, we still need to know how much the float has increased recently and WHY?

Not being familiar with any situation myself of MM's going short a substantial portion of a companies float, I can't offer any certainties. It sounds extremely dangerous for stockholders and MM's alike IMO. If anyone has knowledge of this type of situation I'd appreciate the details immensely.

I'm an investor that will not talk to a company that's in trouble, third party confirmation is essential for me. Until the stock is back in the hands of a transfer agent, I'll assume that an improper increase in float has occurred and may be continuing.
