LT - I hope your wisdom translate into reality pretty soon for I just put UN and PPG. Despite the rally underway, I do notice pretty strong tug of war between the bulls and bears. We will know by close today.

LT/all:

this sums it up for me (from briefing.com):
_____
Amazing how quickly street can go from uptight to upbeat with no real change to the underlying fundamentals... Let's face it Asia didn't get well overnight, Ken Starr isn't going away and earnings growth remains lousy... But improved sentiment and a more favorable rate outlook are behind today's advance... If indices can sustain momentum into the close, and we expect that they will, will be the best two day performance since the correction began.

LT - unfortunately the rally broke your DOW 8705 resistence and it really closed on a strong note. OK, let say this is the last leg before the big fall, what do you think the triggering events will be. Asian market, Europe market, Russian, Iraq, Acampora - they had already flashed the blues yet the US market resisted. I just find it hard to think of a realistic scenario where people would just wake up one morning and decide to clear out all their stock holding.

Today is really a bad day for the shorts as almost everybody rallies, even the evil tower rallied to $30.

Heyward - your note came a day too late <GG> SKYT soared 35% today.
